a note from coach g

Dear Warrior Families,

As I reflect on our first year I hold many great memories. I want to thank the parents and players for an amazing season. I am very proud that all three teams went undefeated in their district play. Another highlight was making our weekend trip through the Dallas snow storm for the THSSBC State Tournament. Both teams competed well, earning great respect our first year. Congratulations to Cosette Kirsch and Brock Gentry for being selected to the All Tournament Team, and Rebekah Malik and Drew Hays selected for Christian Charter Award.

I'm filled with excitement as we plan for next year. We are adding high school girls and boys JV basketball along with 5th-12 grade volleyball to the South Austin Warriors Home school athletic program. Please let all your friends know that we are taking sign ups now so we can plan accordingly.

Summer is the best time to work on your game. Camps make a difference and will improve your skills, speed, and fundamentals. I will be offering basketball and volleyball camps along with private lessons. More information is available on the home page.

Thanks for your support

Mission

South Austin Warriors mission is to partner with home school families, while putting God first in all we do. As coaches, parents, and athletes we must strive to have a Godly attitude while playing at a high level of competition. Our vision is to master the fundamentals of basketball, while creating great memories which will prepare our teams to compete as Warriors.

Colossians 3:17

"And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
